Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following words have special meanings:

  • ‘we’, ‘us’ – Caringly Crafted.
  • ‘you’, ‘your’ – The person who is entering into this contract.

Samples

  • Two samples can be requested free of charge.
  • All subsequent design samples are available at a cost of £1.50 per item which will be refunded if an order is placed.
  • An order form will be sent with the samples for you to complete with all the necessary details.
  • Please make sure that all words and names are spelt correctly.

Ordering

  • No minimum order is required.
  • Orders will take approximately 2 to 6 weeks, from receipt of signed proofs, to complete depending on the size of the order and workloads.
  • It is possible to add to your initial order; however, we do recommend that you order all your stationery at the same time, as this will ensure design continuity. 
  • We also recommend you order a few extra wedding / evening invitations and place cards (if ordering without names) to allow for handwriting errors.
  • When ordering; you may find that you do not have all the information required, such as order of service details, menus, etc. This is not a problem as we will be in regular contact throughout the design process.

Proofs

  • Upon receipt of an order, along with the deposit, a proof of each piece of stationery will be sent to you for approval. 
  • You will need to thoroughly check, sign and return these to us, as this will then be your confirmation that all the details are correct.
  • If at all possible, we prefer any guest list, addresses or special wording you provide to be in a typed format, which would stop any spelling mistakes. E.g. E-mail. We will accept any details supplied this way as full approval.
  • Once printed any mistakes cannot be rectified without a charge.
  • The proof reading will be the client’s responsibility.
  • Errors made by Caringly Crafted will be rectified free of charge.
  • We do not accept any responsibility for incorrect spelling on invitations and accessories if transcribed correctly from your original list

Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total amount is required on placing an order.
  • The proofs will be processed on clearance of payment.
  • The balance of the payment is required before dispatch of your order.
  • Delay in payment at any stage will result in delay of your order.
  • Please do not send cash through the post.
  • All payments must be paid in Pounds Sterling.
  • Two payment options are available

    1. Cheque (made payable to ‘Caringly Crafted')
    2. Online via PayPal (you will be invoiced via email)

Delivery

  • All wedding stationery orders within the UK will be sent via Royal Mail recorded or special delivery. A signature will be required to confirm receipt of delivery.
  • Postage and Packing will depend on your order, as each order varied greatly.
  • The price of postage will include insurance, therefore if anything should happen to your order during delivery we will claim the insurance and remake your stationery.
  • Orders may be sent to your home address, your place of work or a designated address of your choice.
  • Depending on your delivery address, we may be able to hand deliver your order.
  • For orders outside of the UK, please contact us to confirm prices of P&P.
  • Large orders may be sent as more than one parcel.

Express Delivery Service

  • An express delivery service is available, subject to stock availability. If you require your order in a short period of time, please contact us to discuss availability and cost.

Cancellation

  • Any orders cancelled prior to receipt of signed proofs will not incur any additional costs other than the 50% deposit already paid.
  • Any orders cancelled after receipt of signed proofs may incur additional charges up to the full value of the stationery order.
  • Refunds and exchanges will only be made if the stationery is found to be faulty, or does not meet your order specification.
  • Stationery is handmade and therefore may differ slightly from card to card, this is not deemed as faulty.

Copyright

  • You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to use any material (e.g. poems) you ask us to include in your stationery and in particular you indemnify us against any action brought against it for breach of a third party's copyright.
  • Copyright exists in creative works such as hymns for 70 years after the death of the writer. During that period, it is illegal to reproduce the works in any form without the permission of the copyright holder (or their appointed agent). Therefore, should you wish to reproduce the text of a hymn in your order of service, you will need the permission of the copyright holder for which a charge of between £10 and £25 is usually made. You will find details of the copyright holder at the bottom of each hymn's page, although many of the hymns are out of copyright due to their age.
  • Your church or venue may already have permission to use these.

  • We do not assume any responsibility for the accuracy of any particular statement or assume any liability for any loss that may arise from reliance on information contained on this site which is provided for general information only. The provision of these links does not mean that we guarantee, approve or endorse the information, services or products on those other sites.

Data Protection

  • We will not disclose any information you provide with any third party unless specifically agreed in advance by you, for example testimonials.

Miscellaneous

  • Due to the nature of the materials used, small variations may occur in the designs.
  • In order to avoid spelling mistakes or other errors, all wording should be typed not handwritten.
  • We reserve the right to alter any of the prices without notice.
  • When sold, £0.10 from each item listed in the pricing will go to Cancer Research UK, unless you would like to specify another charity.

Placing an order means you have agreed to the above terms.
